day.302 - Cork Jazz Festival

After the Blarney Stone and Castle, we headed to the city of Cork
for the Guinness Cork Jazz Festival. I noticed this humorous graffiti
and took the shot. Quite a nice composition, if I may say so myself!

day.301 - Conner's Pass

On our tour of the Dingle Peninsula, we drove through Conner's Pass
in the mountains. We decided to stop at various pull-offs and this one in
particular, was spectacular. We scaled the rocky mountainside and to our surprise,
discovered this natural lake at a plateau about a third of the way up.

day.300 - Cahir Castle

We toured the Cahir Castle, the most well-preserved castle in Ireland.
As we explored, Laura noticed this intriguing skyline of castle and local real estate.
Great idea Laura!

day.298 - Adare river walk

After dinner at Sean Collins Pub, we took a stroll along the river
in Adare. I took several shots along the walk, but this one is
my favorite with the mirrored reflections in the water.

day.297 - the Guinness lounge

After a traditional Irish breakfast, we toured the Guinness Storehouse
where we learned how to pour a perfect pint of Guinness. We enjoyed
our pints in the lounge overlooking the city.

day.296 - jet lag in Dublin

We arrived in Dublin early Monday morning (5 hrs ahead of the states)
and navigated our rental car – on the opposite side of the road and
fighting jet lag (yikes!) – to Zack's cousin's home.
Who knew roundabouts could be so difficult?!

day.295 - rebuilding WTC

We visited the site of the new World Trade Center towers
and saw the Occupy Wall Street protesters in the park. Very surreal.

day.294 - tribeca, ny

Before catching our flight to Ireland, we stayed with my cousin and her fiancé
for a couple of days in New York City. This is the amazing view from their balcony.

day.289 - inside a child's mind

We went to our nephew's tackle football game Sunday.
The whole family came out to support Jack, including his little brother Michael.
I wonder what he's pondering? Perhaps, who has the M&Ms? :)

day.286 - hard day's night

Lots of overtime at work this week, so my usual 5 o'clock departure
was surpassed by the night. I never really noticed the street lights near
the Delaware library – I love how the details of the iron are highlighted :)

day.283 - spotted clouds

Shot this beauty while driving between two corn fields in the country.
Couldn't help myself – those broken-up clouds were a sight to see!

day.281 - it's fall baby

Fall is my absolute favorite time of year. And the leaves are finally starting to turn!

day.280 - house of the rising sun

I never get tired of the morning sunrises,
especially when they are as pretty as this one.

day.279 - patience, young grasshoppa

This leaf-shaped grasshopper was "hanging out" upside down
on the ceiling of our front porch. Since moving out to the country,
I'm pretty sure I see a new type of insect every few days!

day.278 - spicy! spicy!

It was a nice day for the Farmer's Market in Delaware. I picked up a
spaghetti squash, iced pumpkin cookies, and these bold-red, cayenne peppers.

day.276 – welcome yuengling

Oh my, I am pumped about Yuengling being available in Ohio.
Today was the official release and I just had to enjoy some.
There was a giant display at Meijer and plenty of cold 6-packs :)

day.275 - fall family

The whole family met in Delaware to take family pictures.
The sun was shining – a welcome break from the rain – and
looked pretty against the newly-turned fall leaves.
