day.43 - fresh hair cut

There's nothing like a cut and color to freshen up your hair.

My stylist noticed the way my hair fell on the floor, made for 

a cool picture of the day!

day.42 - sloppy joe, slop, sloppy joe

Who doesn't love sloppy joe sandwiches?

Lean ground beef, zucchini/squash/baby portabella, mac 'n' cheese

day.41 - 1808 american bistro

 

Went to lunch with my hubby at 1808 in Delaware.

Both are a rarity, and thus, a wonderful treat for me. 

day.40 - spongebob square....animals!

These little guys are animal sponges. They came in individual capsules

and "hatch" when put into warm water. We had some fun with these at work :)

day.39 - heart tire tracks

 

This morning, I noticed these heart-shaped tracks

at the end of the driveway. I'm assuming it's from the newspaper

carrier turning around, but I can't figure out how they made the shape. 

day.38 - mellow monday with fiona

This is Fiona. She loves to cuddle-up on my lap, 

and that's exactly what we did Monday night :)

day.37 - cool evergreen

This evergreen tree is at the end of my driveway.

Every Sunday when I get the paper, I find myself looking at it

to see what new precipitation has collected on it.

day.36 - ninety-one years young

My grandma turned 91. We celebrated at Jack-a-lope's in Amherst 

and had yummy cupcakes for dessert :)

day.35 - "turn up the lights in here baby, extra bright..."

Frank took the ladies in his life (me, my mom and his mom) out to dinner 

and a show at the Ohio Theater. The Columbus Symphony performed 

Rachmaninoff's "Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini."

Rachmaninoff is one of my favorite composers :)

day.34 - batter up

Even though the ice storm was icky, it left a neat ice formation –

shaped like a baseball bat – on this branch.

day.33 - running by candlelight

We lost power during the ice storm and had to get ready for work by candlelight.

Luckily, we had plenty of tea lights on hand.

day.32 - icy February is upon us

 

This was just the start of the ice storm that hit Ohio on Tuesday.

day.31 - last day of January

The graphics department decided to celebrate the last day of January

with a trip to the local DQ. I got the cappuccino moo-latté :)

day.30 - organization is sooo under-rated

 

When I woke up on Sunday, I had an insatiable urge to organize.

I started with the closet in the office and am quite pleased with the results.

(This really doesn't do my organizing justice - wish I had a wide angle lens)

day.29 - fondue night

The Cea siblings & their significant others got together for fondue,

complete with some sake and wine.

I'm a big fan of my red silicone droid case.
